Renata Figueiredo is a graphic and product designer Holding a Bachelor’s degree from the School of Fine Arts at Rio de Janeiro Federal University and a Master’s degree in Interactive Communication from NYU's Tisch School of Arts. In 1999, she founded Rec Design, a studio that specializes in communication, branding, and digital media projects. The studio is known for its work with a variety of cultural, institutional, and editorial clients, and has developed a particular expertise in collaborating with the United Nations system. Rec Design partners with several UN agencies including UN Women, UNHCR, UNFPA, UNICEF, UNDP, and WHO to tackle global issues such as development, humanitarian relief, human rights, and gender equality. Additionally, Renata also works as a consultant for the UNDP, focusing on designing solutions that advance social and gender equity.
