Benedita Camacho was born in Porto and currently resides in Coimbra. She is an Assistant Professor and works as a scientific coordinator for both the Master’s in Product Design and the PhD in Design programs at the Faculty of Architecture and Arts at Lusíada University, which is located in Porto and V.N. from Famalicão. Benedita is also the scientific coordinator of Research Group 4, Innovation, Design, and (i)material Culture at the Center for Research in Territory, Architecture and Design (CITAD). As a university professor in the scientific area of Design since 2003, she has also been a managing partner of Atelier Duplo Network since 2003. In recent years, she has been involved in a range of design projects, covering areas such as design for health, design education, sustainability, and culture exchange. She has also published scientific articles, received research awards, and managed, coordinated, and participated in cultural exchanges. She is an expert in the field of design and has made significant contributions to it.
